Wilde’s Women: An Evening with Irish author Eleanor Fitzsimons

Wilde’s Women is the first book to tell the story of the female friends of Oscar Wilde. Enjoy an evening with the author Eleanor Fitzsimons who will tell the stories of Oscar’s friendships with Lily Langtry, Sarah Bernhardt, Ellen Terry and host of other legendary woman who befriended and supported Oscar during his lifetime. Eleanor’s talk will be accompanied by a slide show. She will also discuss her new book on the The Woman’s World, a magazine that Oscar edited in the 1880s. There will also be poetry and music for what promises to be an inspiring evening at Oscar Wilde House.
